boring day
::wails:: I'm so bored today! I had violin, but other than that, I was trapped in the house all day. I cleaned another drawer, and I read. That's. It. Gah!
I felt awful about the whole London thing, too, and that definately added to my mood. Sometimes, peace seems attainable, and other times...well, too depressing.
I'm off to try to badger Dave into watching a movie with me, or something. He's just been hanging out, too, so he's probably just as bored as me.
shopping! and a letter
Stacey and I made a most productive mall run today. She's really fun to shop with, I had no idea! I got some cute capris at Aeropostale, a track jacket at Wet Seal, and a halter, a sundress, a necklace, two bracelets (really 4 bracelets coz one was a set of 3), and a ring at Charlotte Russe. Best of all, I didn't buy a single thing that wasn't on sale! Mom insisted I start cleaning my drawers when I got home though, which was kinda a bummer. Still, I found a decent sized pile of stuff to donate to the Sunshine Shop. And I suppose it's kinda fun to go through all my old stuff.
Also, the Japanese girl that wrote to me out of the blue replied to my letter today, so I guess I've got an authentic pen pal! She sent me pictures of herself, her cat, and her school, which was very cool! She also wrote her name in Japanese for me to see, and I'm now very jealous because it's so pretty! I wish I knew a language that used pictograms. I sent her back some prom pictures because I remember how much Agathe liked my homecoming pictures. I also sent one of the Fab 5, and I tried to explain, but I'm not sure it's something that can be explained.
